Lately, I've been compiling a list of girl's names in my head that I like. Noteworthy - in the fact that previously I have never been especially drawn to any girl's names. Curiously enough, I've also been focusing less on boy's names.

Mind you, having daughters still scares me, but not as badly. So maybe I'm getting even better, who knows.

Just for fun (i.e., so I don't forget), I thought I'd share some of the names I've liked with all of you. What names do you think are nice?

Claire (this was the first one I realized I liked for girls. This list is notably shorter than the boys. But there are a surprising number of girl's names I like.)

Alexavier (still serious)
Alexander (I actually like this is one a little more than Alexavier)
James (I'm not sure why I'm partial to this, I have never really liked it before. Oh well!)

Ashley (people will laugh, but this is originally a boy's name and I think it's terrific! Wouldn't give to a girl, but I would for a boy)
Leslie (see above. Not a favorite, but I like it)

I would like to note I made none of these up, they have been collected through years of sifting through baby names site for various RPGs and stories. I know, I'm crazy. And totally unapologetic.
